Established in 1928 – with an Over Land Vippet Car Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Travelled in this cars during his first visit to Cochin. The car price was Rs.825 Annas 12. pies 6 - Petrol price was 12 annas per Gallon i.e. 75 paisa for 5 litres. There was no petrol pump in the country and petrol was supplied in 5 gallon tin containers.

Now our Mercedez Benz - Executive Class Directly imported from the factory at Stuttgart Germany, Price Rs. 25,00,000/-, cost of petrol Rs.30.97 per littre. On 17th of October 1997. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip for the 1st time in the history of Great Britain , visited Cochin and Prince Philip travelled in this Merecedes for their entire itinerary. In the history of Buckingham Palace, their Kings or Queens, might not have travelled, in a car belonging to a Taxi concern any where in the globe. We had the proud privilege.
